BioHi, I'm Mara. I'm fifteen-years-old, and three years ago, we moved from southwestern Michigan to our current home in Arizona. In my (very little) spare time, I write a novel that I've been working on for almost 4 years. I had to split it up into two books, as it got too long, and I'm currently in the seventh draft of the second. I am also an avid reader and a serious actor and performer. Besides performing, hanging out with friends, and writing, my favorite things to do are to gobble up books in one day or just lie low and listen to some great music. Whenever I'm upset, one of my favorite ways to sort out my feeling is to write some free verse poetry. Unlike most writing, I don't revise my poetry nearly as much, so it's a very nice way to relax. I'm the kind of person who hates doing nothing and has trouble relaxing, but when I DO relax, that's what I do. Most people think I'm quiet and serious, but believe me, they would be in for a big surprise if they ever stepped into my head! Broadway=Life. I don't update this livejournal as much as I should...I've got a very busy life!!!...and just about all of my entries are private, but maybe if my novels are ever published, I'll open them to the public. <3
