Bio:

Hi, I'm Mara. I'm fourteen-years-old, and two years ago, we moved from southwestern Michigan to our current home in Arizona. In my spare time, I write a novel that I've been working on for 3 years. I'm currently in the sixth draft. Besides writing, I'm an avid reader, and I LOVE Broadway! This journal tracks some of my emotions through the difficult process of getting my novel out to the world.

Guide to my userpics:

UNLIMITED: This is my general userpic. I will use this when I am looking ahead or am in a normal mood.

DEFYING GRAVITY: This is the userpic I use if I'm about to/or have just taken a leap! Most of my leaps will concern getting my novel out to the world.

FLY AWAY (Monarch butterfly): This is the userpic I'll use if my leap didn't turn out so well. My dream of that opportunity, for the time being, at least, has "flown away".

ENCHANTED ICON: This is the icon I'll use if I'm obsessing over something! I mean, animated Idina Menzel is just TOO awesome!
